Aligarh Muslim University AMU conducts an Entrance Examination for the Admission to Class 11th (Boys or Girls) in Science Stream . Admissions to Class 11 SSC Boys and Class 11th SSC Girls are both based on the Admission test to be conducted during Last Week of May.
The following combinations are available for SSC-Boys
Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCMX) with 360 seats. and
The Following Combinations are available for SSC Girls
Physics, Chemistry
& Mathematics (PCMX) with 60 seats.
Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCBX) with 240 seats.
Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCBX) with 240 seats.
Physics, Chemistry & Home Science (HCPX) with 10 seats.
Biology Chemistry & Home Science (HCBX) with 10 seats.
The minimum eligibility criteria for an Applicant to be Eligible for the Class 11 Admissions is Secondary School
Certificate of this University or its equivalent examination (Class 10) with not less
than 45% marks in aggregate of
English, Science (including Life Sciences) and Mathematics taken together.
The question paper for Admission test shall be one objective type paper of 100 marks comprising
100 questions with the following breakup :
(a) Science (Physics,
Chemistry and Life Science)
: 50 Marks
(b) Mathematics : 30 Marks
The Application form shall be filled online, there shall be a Combined Admission Test for admission to Senior Secondary School Certificate (Science Stream) and Diploma in Engineering. Candidates applying for Senior Secondary School Certificate (Science Stream) can also apply for admission to Diploma in Engineering on the same Application Form without paying any additional Admission Test Fee.
